Props Where Props Is Due

I Love RAP lol. I laugh when I say that because I can listen to other genres of music but at the end of the day I need my fix of rap. But (and this is only my opinion) I definenlty think there is a difference between rap and Hip Hop. There is another blog in the works for that so I’m not gonna gets into that at this time. But Props where props is due is my little section where I commend the musicians that I constantly find my self rockin too that I think majority of the world has there ears closed. If you haven’t heard or you were just sleep you need to research 3 cats from North Carolina that has been killing the underground hip hop game for years. I’m talking about Little Brother. Big Pooh, Phonte, and the infamous Beat extraordinaire that has many of your favorite rappers in the studio trying to get a cut to add to their must anticipated Album. Yes 9th wonder. I don’t know about you but I’m not super ballin at this time so I need joints that I can relate too. With Big Pooh’s raw flow and Phonte on point bars that have you like damn that’s a MC its not hard to nod your head. Don’t forget about 9th! From samples to just beats, this trio has become one of the only artists I can listen to. I give them Props, they might not be making music together at this time but with albums like THE MISTREL SHOW, THE CHITLIN CIRCUIT, SEPARATE BUT EQUAL, CHITLIN CIRCUIT 1.5, GET BACK AND AND JUSTUS FOR ALL, that’s all you need and beside some of you cats cant even break down bars so its going to take you a while to understand anyways lol. Keep your ears open, these niggas is tight!
